This is a guide for people who have never used or are still new to DXM. This document is good to read even if you are a Dexhead..Basically everything you need to know to be safe will be mentioned here! If you read all this you will be very familiar with DXM and using dxm safely.

One more thing before I get started..If i had to tell you one thing about DXM it would be DONT TAKE CORICIDIN COUGH & COLD; yeah it wont kill you if you do it once, or twice, but if even use C3 somewhat rarley..the short term and long term conciquences arent worth it. DONT USE CORICIDIN COUGH & COLD.

If you have heard of DXM but do not know what it is, simple, its the legal cough supressent found in almost all OTC cough meds. it replaces the narcotic codiene(which im sure you all know of)which in order to get you need a perscription. But if your someone that usually is lookin for a buzz would know codeine is a painkiller and the high is relaxing. But with DXM the high is way different but in a sense similar. Belive me can get you ripped off your ass if used correctly. Plus it's legal and cheap. After i say that..."it's legal and cheap" a majority of people are like....fuck that...fuck DXM...anythin legal cant get me too fadded. But believe me...i wouldnt fuck wit it if it didnt mess me up....i just wanted to mention that.

Many people have been asking me about DXM and what it is, well the truth is it can be a very fun expierance, that is if you know what the fuck your doing. Which if i were you i would read quite a bit about it before you went out and bought some cough syrup and drank the whole thing. This is how many people end up in hospitals and have to get their stomach pumped and shit, not fun. But the thing is that this can very very easily be avioded as long as you know what your doing. In a nutshell you can be safe with a product as long as the only active ingredient is Dextromethorphan HBr or Dextromethorphan Polistirex.

But i would morely recramend DXM HBr(dextromethorphan HBr) mainly because you body will desolve it within 30-60 minutes, plus its has stronger effects compared to the other kind of DXM

Dextromethorphan Polistirex has an etable plastic around it which slows your bodies process of turning the DXM you entered into your body into DMO into your bloodstream. If you do take Dextromethorphan Polistirex this can be dangerous if you start to use DXM recreationally a build up of extended release DXM can start to form which in most cases is not good. Like i said earlier this can easily be avioded by purchasing products with only Dextromethorphan HBr.

When DXM turns into DMO this is when you will start to trip/feel drunk/high and plenty of other fun and enjoyable feelings. Personally my favorite of the effects from this drug is the the body buzz...it can get to be pretty fuckin instense, plus the body buzz increases hella if mixed with pot. Probably the best thing to do on this is sit back listen to music, dim the lights, and smoke a couple bowls or somthing..if you try dxm...smoke weed and listen to music im tellin ya. Many, Many Dexers agree with the combination of pot + DXM is almost nessisary. Music will also increase closed eye halluncination(higher doesage produse open eye halluncination)
If you were to ask me what drug is this close to in terms of the "high" i would say Ketamine to PCP(only when used at high dosage). The main reason DXM can closley relate to these drugs is because they are all three dissociatives. Although i have never done ketamine or pcp i have read in many many sources they are similar because they are in the same drug category..so its kind of common sence..there all dissociatives. Dont get me wrong though...you have to take a lot of DXM to get to a anethstetic dose to the point where your dissociated from you body(mind and body are appart from each other.). Although DXM still is far different from these two drugs it the closest thing to compare it too.

"how much do i take to get fucked up?" you ask? Well this all varies depending on how high you want to get. But let me tell you the smaller dosages compared to higher dosages vary extremely. How high you get is measured on something called a platue. There are four plateus(levels) of intoxication. Although the mg's differ from syrups to pills and from the type of DXM you are taking.

PLATEAUS

1ST plateau
1.5-2.5 mg/kg - feels like the most euphoric drunkeness you have ever felt, with less lack in coordination. Maybe Speech slurr

2ND plateau
2.5-7.5 mg/kg - The high is like being on X, it's gets challanging to walk, You feel like your flying whenever you walk, your legs will feel very rubbery. Very euphoric. Loss of appetite, notice a change in pupil size.

3RD plateau
7.5-15 mg/kg - gets you this fucked up. And beleive me, on this plateau, you are fucked up. Music becomes intesnse and euphoric, changes in conciousness are expirienced, out-of-body expiriences can occur. Thoght becomes soo bivid that you may be observed talking to yourself, as you now think you are somewhere else talking to someone or somthing, out of body expirances are also common, (looking down on things). No desire to eat food..again your eyes will be looking different..dialated pupils..maybe redness

4TH plateau
+15 mg/kg - Now your officially trippin' balls. Basically the same as Plateau 3 but much ,much stronger. Out-of-body expiriences are occompanied by a hallucination of scenery and noises. Everything becomes a dream. You are now on the verge of subconciousness. Euphoria is replaced by a feeling of well-being. You will not be able to walk straight, type, or even talk without slurring on this plateau. Everything you see will probably be 3 dimentional or doubled. Here, your basically in a new world and whatever happens will be accompanied by it's feeling. (ie. you will imagine thigs so vividly that they become your reality. If somthing in this dreamlike state touches you, you feel it. Makes a noise, you hear it, etc.)You can basically think of a scene in your head with your eyes closed, open your eyes and the scene will be there. You can interact with objects and so forth. You could close your eyes and imagine that a Vase of flowers dropped right by your feet...you could hear the vase shatter and feel the water from the vase run past your feet....thats how intense dxm can get.

SIGMA plateau
Not too long ago people pondered if there is another plateu after 4th. After much research it was discovered and named "SIGMA" to be honest ive never expiranced this so i cant tell you whats its mentally and phsyically like..but i can defintly tell you about it. Most people would assume that in order to hit this plateu you must take more MG's of DXM..but that is where people are wrong.

It is recremended that the day before to get a good nights sleep and eat healthy(i guess i could just say not ALL junk food the day before)Also clear your mind from any problems or issues going on in your life...just be ready to enter a DXM world youve never been too before. People also talk about taking certain vitamins the day before..personally ive never done anything like this when it comes to DXM.

Alright in order to hit SIGMA you must start dosing somewhat early in the day...around noon. First you take about a lo-mid 2nd plateu, after about 2 hours maybe even a little longer from dosing, take another lo-mid 2nd plateu, after 2 hours or a little longer take a high 2nd or lo 3rd dosage. After coming down from the third plateau, instead of going back to the second plateau and down to baseline, you will be left in Plateau Sigma.
At Plateau Sigma interesting things happen to reality. Some have reported vivid, entirely realistic contacts with alien entities, spirits, gods and goddesses. Unlike the fourth plateau, these contacts often take place with eyes open, immersed in everyday reality. Although none of the people who reported these experiences to me had bad trips, most related that the experiences were so real that they felt they easily could have.

A majority of people that tripped sigma said it was "extremely unpleasant" and that they "would never repeat it."

NEVER GO OVER 2000mg's you probably could and get away with it but i would strongly strongly recremend not to. NEVER EVER EVER OVER 2500mg's

You should never jump to a higher platue, you should gradually work your way up so your stomach and body know what its kind of like at first. And so you built somewhat of a tolerance. Plus 7% of cacuasians have a enzyme in the liver diffency that metabolizes DXM and if you are one of the 7% you and DXM will not work out well at above recremended doses, This is a reason to start of with a low dose if you going to dose..and see if you can tolerate it. I'd recremend 240mg's for male about 180mg's for females for first dose.


There are more precatiouns you should be aware of but if you actually read the whole journal entry up until here...your ready to go try DXM. If you want to know what i take when taking DXM it is Zicam, a cough spray found in almost all stores where other cough medicines are at. Dont just go buy Zicam and drink it all for the first time ever Robotripping...you need to drink half at most or else you'll get sick....i wouldnt recremend starting with Zicam. Start with a syrup or gelcap.

Zicam Nite, active ingredients only list DXM HBr 6.0 Mg's/spray but in this Bottle of Zicam it is 10% alcohol. if you drink a Zicam Nite i belive its about 550mg's of DXM...never start with a full bottle of Zicam..you WILL get sick and you'll never want to DXM again..

Which brings me to another point, Be very carful with what drugs your are mixing with DXM and drinking on it can result in getting sick. Just don't take DXM if your taking a prescription MAOI (drugs for depression, psychiatic or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease)that's all i have to say about that because it may result in you being in a serious condition.

I kinda keep changing subjects so i will list OTC medicines that contain DXM and are a good candiate for gettin fucked up on

1. Zicam Concentrated Cough Mist. MAX Make sure you get MAX. Aviod Zicam plus D. Zicam Max has 6.6 mg's/spray of DXM HBr. They have regular zicam cough mist which is also safe to take, but there is 3mg/s of DXM HBr per spray. So with max your obviously getting double that. The max bottle is only .55 FL/OZ and zicam nite has .75FL/OZ and only .6 m'gs less than Zicam Max per spray. So your best bet is Zicam Night.

2. Robotussin Maximum Strength Cough. This is the syrup, also comes in pills but many DXM users prefer the syrup for many reasons. This particular syrup has 30mg's/tablespoon. Best candidate along the lines of syrups. Also DXM HBr is the only ingrediant

3. Dexalone gelcaps - only active ingrediant is DXM HBr, althought im not sure if these are still sold. But a gel cap i mention earlier is RoboGels...15/gelcap..20 in a bottle equaling 300m'gs per bottle. These are known to cause an upset stomach...especailly if you take them all at once. I use these quite often though...just dont take them too fast.

4. Drixoral Cough liquid caps

5. Vicks 44 cough/dry hacking cough - i think only has 10 mg's of DXM HBr per tablespoon, for starters of DXM users. Still definatly noticable effects but not quite like zicam or tussin ex strength cough.
